What we collect
When you contact us, request information, or book an appointment, we collect the details you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your inquiry or booking.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and manage appointments, and provide the service you requested. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use the following service providers to operate. Each processes only what is necessary for its role, under its own privacy terms:
- Supabase — secure hosting of your inquiry and appointment records
- Anthropic — generating AI-assisted chat responses
- OpenAI — replying to text messages, and answering chat if Anthropic is unavailable
- Google Calendar — scheduling and managing your appointment
- Resend — sending you email communications
- Twilio — sending and receiving text messages about your booking
Advertising measurement (Meta)
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To see which ads bring in bookings, we use two Meta tools:
- The Meta Pixel, a cookie in your browser that tells Meta when you visit our site or book. It stays off until you choose Accept.
- The Meta Conversions API. If you have chosen Accept, when you book, our server sends Meta your email address and phone number in coded (hashed) form, along with what you booked and, once the job is done, what it cost. Meta uses them to match you to your Facebook or Instagram account and tell us which ad you saw.
Meta gives us totals, not who you are. Meta can also use this information for its own advertising, under its own terms.
You choose. A small notice asks the first time you visit. Accept turns this on. Decline sends nothing to Meta, and our site and booking work exactly the same. You can change your choice any time from the "Cookie settings" link, or by emailing getfreshautodetailing@gmail.com. You can also block cookies in your browser or change your ad settings in your Facebook account.
How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our service and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may request:
- Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — a fix to inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — removal of your personal information
- Withdrawal — withdrawal of your consent to further contact
